BARRICADED SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

(December 29, 2025) Georgetown County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a residence on Newton Trail in the Andrews area Sunday evening, Dec. 28, for a domestic incident that resulted in a woman armed with a knife barricading herself in a bedroom.

SWAT Team members and crisis negotiators persuaded Kenyatta Miller to surrender, and she was taken into custody without further incident. She is being charged with Domestic Violence 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest and Malicious Injury to Personal Property.
