Text A Tip
Contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at (843) 546-5102. Anonymous tips may also be sent by using Text-A-Tip. Just dial 847411 from any text enabled cell phone, and text the word “GCSOTIP” followed by your message. This service is for crime tips ONLY, not for the reports of crimes in progress. For crimes in progress, call 911.

In the message box begin by typing in GCSOTIP, enter a space, then type your tip and hit send. It is important that the keyword GCSOTIP be included before the message.
When the text message is sent to the GCSOTIP, your information and contact information is scrubbed from the message that TIP411 sends to us, this service is 100% anonymous.
OPTION 2: SUBMIT A TIP ONLINE
Use the link below to submit your anonymous tip online. After submitting a tip using a web service, you'll be assigned a six-digit code containing numbers and letters. That is your anonymous ID to log back into the system.
