Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act

This act, commonly called HR 218, allows qualified law enforcement officers and retired law enforcement officers to carry a concealed firearm anywhere in the nation.

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office facilitates the annual certification process, including testing on the local firing range. As a first step, you must complete the HR 218 application.
