INVESTIGATION LEADS TO SEIZURE OF WEAPONS AND DRUGS

Sheriff Carter Weaver has announced the arrest of a Kent Road resident on drug and firearms charges and two other men on separate drug charges by deputies with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Vice Unit today.
Hubert Bone, 65, of 31 Kent Road was charged with five drug offenses and two weapons law violations. Drug charges include: Trafficking Fentanyl (14-28 grams); Trafficking Meth (28-100 grams); Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana; Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine; and Possession of Cocaine Base.
Narcotics seized include trafficking amounts of methamphetamine and Fentanyl and distribution amounts of crack cocaine, cocaine and marijuana.
Firearms charges include: Possession of a Firearm During a Violent Crime and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Weapons seized included 12 rifles and shotguns and two pistols.
Mark Jayroe, 41, also of 31 Kent Road, was charged with Trafficking Meth (10 to 28 grams), and Rodney Cooper, 51, of Georgetown was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl.
