TWO INJURED IN ANDREWS SHOOTING

July 13, 2025: Sheriff Carter Weaver has announced that Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting near the Stop and Shop in the city limits of Andrews where two people were injured early today.
A 19-year-old male was treated for a gunshot wound at the scene prior to being transported to a local hospital, and an 18-year-old male was taken by personal vehicle to Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Several vehicles were reportedly damaged by gunfire.
Investigators are in the process of interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence. Anyone with information about the incident should call 843-546-5102.
