Sheriff Carter Weaver honored four employees of the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office Thursday at a special luncheon.
Bob Medlin worked in a number of capacities during his 41 years of service. He joined the sheriff’s office in 1980 as an investigator and served as a captain, chief investigator and major. Since 2002, he has been systems manager.
T.L. Staub and Mandy Glover were honored for their 25-plus years of service. Both will enjoy retirement status, but return to work within the enforcement division. Mandy will continue her service as a School, Resource Officer, and T.L. will assume analyst duties.
Vince Weaver, after 17 years of civil process duties, will enjoy life after service and celebrate his 92nd birthday in October.
