Drug bust April 9

Tips from residents have led to multiple arrests out of a house in Plantersville this week. This morning, the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office Street Crimes Unit, Narcotics Division, and SWAT team executed a search warrant on a home on Idols Lane. During the search, deputies located 24.38 grams of suspected Fentanyl, 14.26 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, and 25 pills of suspected Cyclobenzaprine Hydrochloride. Deputies also located digital scales and two firearms, one a sawed-off shotgun.

Nicholas Rogers, 36, of Georgetown is charged with Trafficking Fentanyl 14-28 grams 2nd offense, Trafficking Methamphetamine 14-28 grams 2nd offense, Unlawful Possession to Distribute Prescription Drug without Prescription, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, and Possession of a Sawed-Off Shotgun. Rogers is currently incarcerated at the Georgetown County Detention Center.

The investigation also led to the following arrests and charges earlier in the week:

Kadence Whiteside: Distribution of Fentanyl 2nd offense, Possession of Meth, Less than 1 gram, 2nd offense
