Man arrested for marijuana shipment

Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics/Vice Unit agents and Criminal Investigations Division officers arrested a man Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, in connection with illegal drugs being shipped through the postal service.
Timothy Charles Humphrey, 60, of the Pawleys Island community was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, second offense. A package containing a significant quantity of marijuana was sent to a local business to be picked up by Humphrey.
Humphrey, who was charged during a similar operation a year ago, was transported to the Georgetown County Detention Center where he is being held pending a bond hearing.
